Making a complaint
You, your representatives or your family members have a right to complain if you are unhappy with any aspect of the service that you receive from Dalriada Urgent Care.
Taking the time to give feedback on your experience helps us to improve our services.
Tell us about your experience as soon as possible, normally within 6 months.

What to expect
You should expect an acknowledgement and information on ‘How to make your views known to Dalriada Urgent Care’ within 3 working days of making your complaint.
You should expect a response within 20 working days.
The response will address the concerns you expressed and show you that each element has been fully and fairly investigated.
If you remain unhappy with the response you can contact the Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman.
Anyone who complains to us should feel that their concerns are being taken seriously and that the investigation is adequate and proportionate to the problem.
Dalriada Urgent Care
Who we are
Dalriada Urgent Care is for those of you living in the Northern Trust area who need urgent GP services that cannot wait until your own GP’s surgery opens.
We deliver compassionate care, evenings, weekends and bank holidays to more than 160,000 patients a year.
We offer telephone advice to those of you who can manage your symptoms at home as well as offering GP type appointments should you require a face-to-face appointment at one of our bases.
Home visits are also available for those of you who require palliative care, are elderly or bed bound.

Responding to complaints
Dalriada has a policy and procedure for responding to complaints, enquiries, comments/suggestions and compliments made by service users.
